Do the United States Intelligence Services have proof of encounters with extraterrestrials?
Will our solar system receive a visit from a so-called Planet X?
Or will the world as we know it end in the year 2012?

Christian Bang, a former reporter and now a small-time writer living in Denmark, has just begun his third novel. Drinking and smoking a bit too much, Christian's whole life is down at heel, and his only income is a small grant. Christian is therefore finding it increasingly hard to keep the bills from stacking up around him.

While on his way home from a research trip, Christian witnesses the dramatic arrest of a young computer science student. An event which gains in significance when, suddenly, the arrestee disappears from police custody - without a trace.

Christian senses that a story is brewing, and he embarks on a private investigation, immersing himself in a case of international – or maybe even interplanetary – scope.

As the story progresses, it becomes clear that the young student has succeeded in breaking into the databases of one of the world’s most secretive intelligence services. Apparently, he has gained access to a number of highly controversial documents, and when Christian eventually learns what's in them, there is no turning back.

Christian finds himself being propelled to the United States, with the nameless intelligence service never more than two steps behind him. And the scene is set for a stunning climax.

That anyone could say this is a great novel speaks volumes about society's diminished intelligence. This is as close to being illiterate as I have ever seen. The author has no concept of what a sentence is, and English spelling and grammar are just tossed aside as unimportant. Note: "whilst" is a pretentious abomination, but prepare yourself--it's going to appear in this work more times than you can imagine, and it will irritate you each time. The central character, Christian Bang, is loathsome on so many levels that you really hope someone will kill him. Let's see--he's an alcoholic, a deadbeat, a dopester, a hack writer, a cad, a dirtball, an ingrate, a nicotine fiend, and a moocher. The book's title is just a cheap hook for anyone who is fascinated by Zechariah Sitchin's theories. Sitchin AND the Sumerians should sue Mr. Lou for misrepresentation. If you do find yourself reading to the end, I guarantee, positively, that you will be horrified by the utter stupidity and sheer incompetence of the "climax." The other negative reviewers aren't whistling Dixie when they say the ending is authorial malpractice. It would have been an improvement over the actual ending--and I'm not kidding!--if the author had closed with "And Christian woke up and realized it had all been a bad dream." This book sets back literary progress by millennia, not just centuries. I guess you could say I didn't care for it.

Operation Nibiru 2012 Mr Arn Lou Mr Daniel Bratcher 9788792735102 Books Reviews

I was really disappointed with this book. The build-up to the climax is moderately well-handled, only to be let down by the climax itself and the weak resolution thereafter. Also, the main character Christian can only be described as a complete cad. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing... an anti-hero type hero has great potential if written well... but the author did not manage to get me to identify with or even root for this guy. According to the book he is described as rather irresistible to women but to me he just seemed rather nauseating. I wish I hadn't wasted my time finishing this book.
The book had moments of interest ,however , many ,many useless filler type paragraphs to add length - and then -of course- not much was revealed til very end -I found myself bored .
Sorry to the author, but I hated this book, I forced myself to read it cause I paid for it, however that was a waste of two days
I could have been watching paint dry and been more entertained.
This is not to say that some will like this book, but for me it was awful
This is a story about a cover-up involving government agencies, UFOs, and the International Space Station, with a chase from Denmark to across the USA.

If was not for the personality and character flaws of the main character, I would give this story 5 stars.
Once you get past some grammatical errors and the over use of "whilst" it's not a bad read. I enjoyed the conspiracy side to this book more than anything, BUT it did leave much to wonder. I expected a book more about the actual planet (Planet X) than a mystery thriller, but since I like these types of books I didn't mind and actually began to enjoy it.
I tried my best to keep on reading hoping it would eventually lead to something. However, the author keeps on using the word "whilest" instead of "while" thrown in with a few curse word. Read 3 chapters and still confused to what this has to do with Nibiru and the Sumerians.

After 3 chapters, all I got from the book was the word "whilest" and why it was repeated on several occasion.

Just a bunch of random stories that lead to nothing. I had to return this for a refund.
The reviews said it was a pleasant surprise - action packed - good purchase.... my reply "Are you kidding me? That's how it ends!" Indeed, it had some suspense and I even started to hope the sleazy character of Christian would actually grow up and act like a real man. The book was going in the right direction and had the potential to turn into a really good story, but it was like the author got tired of writing and just decided to end it. It was like someone writing a paper for class, who just hit the minimum page limit required and decided the sum it up whether they had proven their thesis or not. Horrible, unbelievable ending. But.... I only paid 99 cents for the book, what more could I expect?
